Almost four years ago, I saw Adele in concert at some Jewish Synagogue in DC with two good friends of mine. She had just released 19 and was only getting a little airplay on VH1 at the time for Chasing Pavements (a brilliant song by the way). Tickets to her show only cost $15. To this day, it was hands down on the best concerts I’ve ever been to. After the show, she waited outside the front entrance where her tourbus was and signed every autograph and posed for every picture for any fan that wanted one. She was gracious and kind, humble and sweet yet hilarious and so charming. After blinding her with my flash for the first photo, she gave a cackling laugh and joked at how horrible that picture would be and posed for yet another photo. I was so embarrassed yet so happy that I was actually meeting and talking with her! She was just so down to earth and friendly!
I knew I had just met a great artist and singer, but little did I know she would go to become one of music’s most talented and respected artists of our generation.

HOW TO: Take Over The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (and the rest of Florida)

Inspired by Tyler Oakley’s HOW TO: Take Over Tokyo/Thailand videos, Robyn’s Hang with Me music video, and Daniel’s Escape from Wonderland video, I decided to record my trip to Florida.

Getting to road trip from Virginia with three great friends = the time of my life.

My goddaughter’s the cutest.

Wow, what a day.

Arrived in DC around 10:30am after a 14 bus ride from Toronto with a friend I hadn’t seen in ages who coincidentally was on the same bus. Spent the day at my aunt’s apartment catching up on some much needed sleep, furiously reading Mockingjay, and watching classic 90s movies on TV. Ate a delicious lunch at Burger Tap and Shake. Met up with my folks after they got off work and had a great dinner. Got home and then find out my cousin just totaled his car back in Toronto and broke his collarbone. He’s okay and just got discharged from the hospital, but damn, what a shitty end to a good day :(

Update: He broke his collarbone, but otherwise okay. Ouch.
